Lake Sherwood Estates is a year-round lake community in a beautiful, 1200 acre, natural setting. Six stocked lakes ranging in size from 135 acres to 3 acres, offer opportunities for water-skiing, fishing, pontoon-boating and swimming. Fishing enthusiasts can catch bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill, and redear sunfish from any of our stocked lakes.
All lakes are surrounded by wooded hillsides. Maintaining our natural woodland environment, including our trees and our wildlife, is a community priority. Pileated woodpeckers (among many kinds of woodpeckers), Baltimore Orioles, Great Blue Herons, deer, raccoon, and fox are just a few of the wildlife commonly seen.
We are a gated community with 24 hour, year round security. The gated entrance ensures property owners that our beautiful facilities are available only to them and their guests.

Full electric, telephone, water and sewer services and cable television are available to each lot. The New Melle Fire Department provides Class 6 fire protection. Lake Sherwood is part of the Marthasville Ambulance District with an ambulance and a medical team on site.
